Young People's Impact League
Members can join as early as entering 6th grade through 12th grade.
Mentors are adults of 21 years or older.
How We Came About
Our family was looking to join an organization that allowed either parent to take part in volunteering opportunities with our son and daughter alongside others. Like many families with busy schedules trying to balance work, our activities, and kids' activities. We needed the additional flexibility to tap into the support system of adults in our children's lives. Being able to join them to commit and achieve the goals we wanted for our children.
While we are a new organization, we saw a need and wanted to fill the gap by providing this opportunity for other families like ours. Knowing the important role that adults play in shaping our children into who they grow up to be, we wanted to make sure there was an opportunity that gave families the flexibility we were looking for and allowed multiple adults in their lives to lead by example.
